Overlooking the lovingly tended Victorian kitchen garden at Ston Easton Park, you'll find a perfect little gardener's cottage that dates from the 17th Century - a peaceful, private, pastoral retreat on the wooded banks of the River Norr. The cottage is a glorious blend of old and new, decorated throughout with fine furnishings and attractive antiques.
Foxes and badgers pad around in the still of the night and, during the day, you can see a rich variety of wildlife including kingfishers, swallows and woodpeckers.
The cottage comprises three suites, two in the State category of room and one smaller suite clasified as a Classic bedroom. The cottage can also be reserved exclsuively allowing you full access to the spacious kitchen, sumptuous lounge with views of the river gently flowing by, lovely dining area overlooking the immaculate gardens and three en-suite bedrooms.
If staying in one of the suites, there are thre options:
The River Suite The River Suite is accessed by the front door of the cottage and you enter into the large living area with sumptuous sofas, a lovely fireplace and many wonderful antiques. A staircase leads to the spacious double bedroom with two windows overlooking the river and a lovely en-suite bathroom.
The Garden Suite The Garden Suite is accessed through a door to the side of the house. There is a large kitchen with a comfortable seating area with views of the terrace and gardens. Stairs lead to a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There is room for an extra bed.
Jaspers Jaspers is the smallest of the three suites and is ideal for children with parents staying in the Garden Suite, accessed by an interconnecting door. There is a small separate living area with a sofa bed and a double bedroom and ensuite bathroom.
