The award-winning Sorrel Restaurant is a Georgian oak panelled restaurant overlooking the spectacular cascading River Norr that runs through the beautiful parkland along the back of the house and is perfect for intimate dining and private dining parties.
The restaurant is open to non-residents as well as guests of the hotel daily for lunch and dinner.
The Sorrel Restaurant can seat up to 40 guests on circular tables and has an adjoining Painting Room that can seat up to 30 guests, also on circular tables.
Our Head Chef, Matthew Butcher and his talented team, offer an excellent standard of modern British cuisine and uses fresh local ingredients including an abundance of produce from our kitchen gardens.
Matthew comments, Now a year into my time a Ston Easton Park, we as a team have been inspired and excited about having an excellent supply of fresh vegetables growing in our gardens. Creating new menus and dishes with the produce growing in the Victorian glasshouses is an inspiration, allowing the freshness of the produce to speak for itself once presented in the restaurant.
We believe that really fresh vegetables are an essential part of outstanding cuisine and we have a Victorian kitchen garden to provide much of what is needed backed up by the best local producers. The outstanding cuisine in this remarkable setting creates a uniquely desirable dining experience of international renown.
