City of Bath – 11 miles

One of the most popular places to visit in Somerset is Bath. The stunning city boasts the Roman Baths, Thermae Bath Spa, Bath Abbey, Theatre Royal, Bath Rugby Club, The Royal Crescent, Bath Assembly Rooms, Sally Lunn’s, Jane Austen Centre, plus a huge number of museums, sites of architectural interest and beautiful parks; not forgetting the famous Bath Christmas Market.

City of Bristol – 13 miles

Our guests love Bristol. Recently named as one of the most prosperous and greenest cities in the UK and Europe, Bristol is rich in culture, media and has a quirky arts scene. With the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge and Bristol Zoo Gardens, the city makes for an excellent trip to civilization while taking some downtime while staying at one of the finest luxury hotels near Bristol. 

City of Wells – 7 miles

Another popular place to visit in Somerset is the wonderful Wells. One of it many Somerset attractions is Wells Cathedral (and Wells Cathedral School), Bishop’s Palace and Gardens, Ebbor Gorge, Wookey Hole and of course, the set of the film Hot Fuzz. Near Wells is Glastonbury with the ruined Glastonbury Abbey, Glastonbury Tor and the world-renowned Glastonbury Festival. We are only a twelve minute drive to the historic market town of Shepton Mallet. The settlement is the closest town to the popular Glastonbury Festival and also only a stone’s throw from The Bath and West Showground.
