Jude's Festive Flower for 2015
11th Dec 2015

Jude’s Festive Flower for 2015.

This year our House Florist, Jude White has carefully selected the 'Royal Velvet' Amaryllis as this years favoured festive flower. Try them in your arrangements!

Amaryllis ‘Royal Velvet’; A deep royal red in colour with a rich velvet appearance, ideal for an extravagant festive floral arrangement.

They look impressive as as a stand alone flower a vase arrangement or complemented by other flowers or greenery. Why not use them in a floral table arrangement too, this will give a very full and glamorous look.

Why the Amaryllis?

  • They are Glamorous and unusual; your Christmas visitors are sure to be impressed.
  • They are long-lasting especially if you grow them from a bulb they will flower for more than a month and they will come back stronger year on year.
  • They are unscented which means you can really make the most of the scents produced from cinnamon sticks, dried orange and apple that you use in your arrangements.
  • As a pot plant the also make impressive presents for the festive season. Due to their durability and nature to keep flowering year on year means your friends or family will be able to keep it flowering until next year.
